PowerMILL SP5 Snapshot issue.

Our customer throw issue at the snapshot in PowerMILL SP5.
the image file only snap the background color. and the model was invisibable.Whatever the color seting for the model shading.

 

the customer's computer hardware configuration are:

 

Dell Precision T1700 MT CTO:

  Windows 7 Ultimate.

  Dell Precision T1700 MT

  E3-1241 V3 (4 core HT,3.50 GHZ Turbo,8MB)

  1T Serial ATA(7200 rpm) disk size.

  Nvidia Quadro K620 2GB(DP,DL-DVI-I)

 

 

And I test the snapshot at other computer in Windows 7.

Our test computer hardware are:

 HP ProDesk 600 G1 DM Desktop

 Windows 7 Ultimate. SP1

  Processor Intel fourth-generation Core i3-4130T @ 2.90GHz dual-core
   Motherboard HP 21D0 (Intel Haswell - Lynx Point)
   Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4400 (192 MB / HP)
   Memory 4 GB (Magnesium DDR3L 1600MHz)
   Main hard drive Hitachi HGST HTS725050A7E630 (500 GB / 7200 r / min)
   Display ViewSonic VSC702E VA2349 Series (23.1 in.)
   SoundRarreal ALC221 @ Intel Lynx Point High Definition Audio
   Network Ethernet Ethernet Connection I217-LM / HP

 

Can customer edit the configuration file or update the Graphics card driver to solve this issue?

Hi @hx,

 

We always recommends to the  customer to keep the Graphic card drivers updated for their Graphic card. So the first thing the customer should try to check is whether they have recent released drivers installed? If not; try installing the recent drivers and see if it resolves the problem.

 

If they still face the problem then request customer to follow the mentioned steps,

 

1) Go to NVIDIA Control Panel 
2)  Under 3D Settings select Manage 3D Settings
3) Under the Manage 3D settings opened in main window panel click on Global Settings button.
4) Under Global Presets : Select option '3D App - Visual Simualtion' and Apply it. 
5) Now Starting the PowerMILL 2017 and taking the SnapShot will save the 3D view image without any problem.
