Yes that's right, you heard correctly....we're giving away FREE training Smiley Happy

We're building a library of in-depth training videos on the Instructables platform and have just added PowerMill 2018 classes. The videos are ideal for anyone that's new to PowerMill or who has yet to transfer over to the new ribbon style interface included in PowerMill 2018.

You can see the complete list of CAM / NC programming classes at https://www.instructables.com/classes/tagged/cnc/

Simply register your details, click on the PowerMill class, sit back and get ready to become a CAM programming MASTER (hopefully).

Thanks and have a great weekend!

How often will the lessons be added? Once a week, once a month?

iamcdn79 we will be adding more classes over the coming weeks. These will aim to tackle different industries/applications as well as considering both metric and imperial units.

We've been using the Instructables site for some of our other products and the feedback has been really good. If the PowerMill classes are well received we'll be happy to create more. If you have any suggested topics/themes, please feel free to comment below.

Thanks

@clinton.perry is this still being supported? There hasn't been a lesson added for Powermill since you have created this topic

This is still actively supported and being updated. No timeline as to when it will be updated on the Instructables page.

Where can students download the models used in the PowerMill Instructables lessons?

Some of the Instructables videos include instructions on accessing the CAD models. In fact, the "Getting Started" videos use a CAD model that is included in the installation of PowerMill.

You may be interested to know that we recently launched a new learning resource centre for PowerMill, FeatureCAM, PowerShape, PowerInspect, and Fusion Production. This replaces the Instructables platform.

You can access this new site at https://learn.manufacturing.autodesk.com/.

Thanks,
