Hello, I installed the version 2022 convinced that it solved the problem related to the screenshot. With disappointment I saw that the problem persists and that to make it work I still have to use a drive that is more than a year old. I am using a Quadro p3000 video card.

The option to avoid flats on finishing toolpaths looks interesting.  Currently I create shallow boundaries with 0 deg angle and avoid those areas that way.  We'll see how this works, but if it does that saves me a bit of work.

Hello @HMC400. We are actively working on a solution to this problem. Unfortunately it was not ready for the initial PowerMill 2022 release but hope to get it to you very soon.

@HMC400  I know when people see that the issues with the screenshot and print preview are still not working correctly.  This is not something that PowerMill is causing, NVIDIA introduced this problem on their end.  If the PowerMill team tries to fix something that NVIDIA did, when they fix it the PowerMill team will need to re-fix it on their end again to accommodate.  I know it seems like it's PowerMill's fault but it's truly NVIDIA's issue.

I hope this clears anything up with the screenshot and print preview issues still happening.

I'm running a P3200 Quadro card with driver version 431.02 in case anyone wants to try that driver.  My screenshot and print preview are working as expected.

Thanks for the explanation. I have a Quadro P3000 framework and to make it work I use 443.66 drives

@HMC400

I agree with Craig, he has been digging in pretty deep with some graphics driver related issues lately and has a good understanding for these issues.

I am running a Quadro P3200 and driver version 425.31 and I will not be updating until something breaks. This is what I practice and also what I preach. When it comes to graphics drivers, if it's not broken, don't fix it.

@lokesh.kalia

Powermill 2022 rest area clearance functionality seems to be broken compared to 2021. Levels are being skipped and not cutting all the way down.

I PM you the link to the 2 project files.

Thanks @396993356 I have opened PMILL-15795 to investigate why there no passes along parts of the profile in the Slice Area Clearance toolpath.

And thanks @iamcdn79 , I have opened PMILL-15796 to investigate why the stock model Rest Area Clearance toolpath is incomplete.
