How we can get index positions of rotary table, for example it can turn every 45 degree. what is post modification and mtd file modification?

I don't think there is a way to restrict the mtd file to only be able to rotate in 45 degree increments.  But this is definitely doable for the post.  You could write a script to check the table rotation angle while posting, if the angle isn't divisible by 45, you can throw an error message and stop the post-processing.  Another option would be to write a macro that you would use to post programs.  This macro could check the angle of the mtd file's table and only post if the table is rotated in 45 degree increments.
