Hello everyone!

I have a problem.

I can't output the feed rate of Lead-in/out,It still uses the cutting Feed rate.

How should I set it up?

Thanking you in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for posting in Autodesk Community!

As I see your query, it's about to set lead in and lead out feed-rate in Lead Feed Rates tab as well as the feed rate should reflect in NC program. As you know this feed rate is calculated in percentage with respect to cutting feed rate and to understand this, I have attached a PowerMill project FYR. In this project, you can see a single slice toolpath and in toolpath connection, extended move is selected in Lead ins & Lead outs move to define the feed-rates. And under the Feed Speed dialog in Lead in and Lead out feed rate, I have set the value in percentage calculation. Finally get the NC program by using default PowerMill post-processor and get the correct result. Please have a look and if anything else related to this query, feel free to reply me. I will be glad to assist you.

If my post answers your query, please click on 'Accept as Solution' button.

Thanks,

Thanks so much for response.

I tried the project you provided with my post.

It does read different feed rates.

SO I guess it's a question of strategy.

The strategy I used was 'Drilling-Profile'.

Can you test it for me again?

Thank you very much!

Hi @Anonymous,

Apologies for late reply, because of occupied in other tasks.

And thanks for your response. Currently, this functionality is not available for drilling strategy. I can make a wish for you.

Thank you and have a great day!

Thanks,
