Because low-version Post Processor can't open high-version post processor files,sometimes I wanna get the version information of a post processor file quickly.I know that import the post processor file into Post Processor,through clicking 'Option Files Setting',I can see the version of the post processor file in Information->General->Modified->Last Modified in.But if there is any other more convenient way(without open Post Processor)to help me get the information?

Hover over a post processor file in Windows file explorer, and a pop-up description (infotip) will show displaying bacis property details of the item, including Last Modified In:

Recently I installed Powermill 2016 which contains Post Processor 2015,because of which the icons of the post processor files in my computer which installed Post Processor 2017/18/19 before had changed into old type.
I can't see the version through your way as following picture shows.I tried to reset Post Processor 2018 to the software that turns on the post processor by default.
Neither didn't the icons reset,nor can't I get the version information through your way.
Is it a bug?

In order to change the active version of AMPPU, you can do the following.
Click on the windows icon, and search for the Autodesk Manufacturing Post processor Utility 2018 group.
Expand it, then click on the "Make ..... the current version"
It should fix your issue.
And it will also probably fix the tool tip, as the content displayed had changed over the revision.

Just to add that it is actually possible to export a new version post into an older post version:
Go to SAVE AS and select the version you want to export the post to:
Do not use this function lightly as there might be bugs in the resulting post, but generally it does work and allows to support older PowerMILL seats, without having to develop a whole existing post from scratch.

what's more,from my point of view,this method is not safe enough.
If a collision occurs during the use of this post processor, the consequences may be serious.

@VitorMartinsAugusto has done a little mistake, you don't have to use Save As, but File ... Export in order to save in a previous version. But as he says, be carefull and check the output.
