Selling assets under monthly license

Hello friends!
It's not clear for me how this monthly subscripsion is working. After playing with/trying 3ds max for some time as a hobby i decided that maybe i reach the basic understandment of 3d modeling and i can start taking a more serious look into it.So, i'm interested in a comercially license!
I can't afford to pay 4.000+€ and i was thinking to the other option, renting the software.
The questions is what are the legal terms of subscription? Let's say i can buy it for less than a year(one, two..six months) i will still be able to sell(if it goes into that direction during time) the models i create?? I will have the legal rights to sell the assets created in a month of renting anytime? I hope i made myself understood, thank you!

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the community.

Here are the licensing terms and conditions for subscription, please note that those documents are the final say. By what you are saying, I do not see any issue with still using models you have created while under subscription, being able to access/alter them though, while not under subscription may present an issue for you.

Hi @Anonymous, thanks for your question!  I believe that I understand your question to be this "if I own a Desktop Subscription license of 3ds Max, do I have the rights to the sell the assets I create from using that license during my active term?”  My answer would be that the Desktop Subscription license itself has no bearing on your ability to sell the assets you create when using the product.  You would have the same rights to what you create as you would from a perpetual license. I see that another community member has already provided you with the link to our page that lists our Subscription terms and conditions.  That is a good reference and if you have any adidtional questions, do let us know.

Thanks for both of your answers!
I coudn't find the link by myself, better than this, you provideded a more direct answer..legal terms are difficult to understand even in our native language sometimes.
I consider this a great oportunity for people like me, at the begining of the road and it feels good that i don't have to leave max and go to learn another software.
Thank you very much again!
