How to get Layer Name from a Block Table Record

Hi,

   I have block table record, and now i want to find the layer in which the particular block is present.

   I am a newbie to ObjectARX, can any one help in this issue.

And if there are some instances of AcDbBlockReference, which refer to a single instance of AcDbBlockTableRecord? Layer which of them you have to know?

If you have instance of class AcDbBlockReference - you can use his method layer() in order to have it's layer name.

blockreference from blocktable??? Sorry but It is impossible. You have to study the structure dwg-file with ObjectARX SDK Documentation.
