Hi there,
I have an issue of peeling during my printing, and I think it is because of same starting scanning point. How can I control this in Netfabb.

Thanks for your help

Regards,
Vahid

Hello, @s223189057,

Can you please be more specific?

What are you seeing the peeling on, part, open support, closed support?

Which machine?

Which build configuration?

EBPA version, if applicable? (R-click in configuration editor > Show configuration info)

Netfabb version?

Kind regards,

Steffen

Hi Steffen,
Thanks for your reply.

What are you seeing the peeling on, part, open support, closed support? It is not peeling actually, it is like spark from one corner, and owing to this, to not damage the brush (recoater), we stop process. Upon reviewing my toolpath report data in the SLM Slice Viewer, I noticed that this issue occurred on sample that began printing at the same point during each subsequent layer.

Which machine? Our machine is SLM Solution 280 HL Single

Which build configuration? I print my lattice samples in Z direction. The Scan strategy I applied are either bi-directional with 90 rotation or cross (chess).
EBPA version, if applicable? (R-click in configuration editor > Show configuration info). I did on version V4.32 , the Buildstyle Processor Version : 4.64.0.1211.  I also used the default configuration just changing layer thickness (Buildstyle Processor Version : 4.64.0.4)

Netfabb version? 2024 Premium

Thanks for your help, Steffen!

Hello, @s223189057,

Without further data it is impractical to investigate.

Please provide as much as possible of:

  • SLM print file
  • Build configuration exported from Netfabb (in configuration listing, righ-click, export)
  • FABBPROJECT file (configurations do not get stored in this file)

If attachment or disclosure in a public forum is issue, I recommend you open a support case and provide the files there; the support portal also provides facilities to attach large files.

Kind regards,

Steffen
