I keep getting a message " Lattice Commander Operation Failed" and I'm not sure  why...Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Netfabb community! Can you share a bit more about what operation you are trying to perform when you encounter this warning message? At first glance, my initial suspicion would be that your lattice cell size is much larger than your geometry.

Andrew, I believe you're right about the geometry. I'm exploring different options with lattices. Any training videos you can recommend?

I got another question, non-related to the lattices. I was not able to export the part as a STEP file:

Hi @Anonymous,

 

The lattice commander feature is still in "Tech Preview" and with each release the functionality is changing quite significantly. As such, at present we don't have video tutorials for this feature.

 

The export as parametric model is only available for models that are parametric. You can convert a model to parametric by using the "Mesh to BREP" feature found under Modify.
