Whenever I'm doing a heavy task in Netfabb (repairing big files, slicing big files, etc) that take more than a minute, I like to look at task manager and see how my system is doing. It seems like Netfabb never utilizes my system resources much at all. I have a beefy new computer with a good recent GPU, 32MB RAM, etc. Open GL is on, and I've assigned "high performance" graphics to Netfabb in system settings.
For example, I'm currently slicing a 700MB file. 6 minutes in, I'm at 18%. Task manager shows Netfabb is not hitting my GPU at all, and barely touching my CPU and memory.
Why is Netfabb not using my system resources to go faster? Are there settings I can change to allow NF to better utilize my resources?
Thanks.
