Mesh Body Cross Section Area Calculate

How can the cross-sectional area of mesh structures be calculated and the area of the cross-section taken? Can you help me? We can also share the part and make a sample work. Thank you.

Welcome to the Netfabb forum!

To see the cross section area, use Slicing.

1. Rotate the model so that the cross section is oriented parallel to the build platform.
2. Drag the model into Slicing.
3. Move the slice slider to the position where you want the cross section area measured.
4. Check the Information box.
