Autodesk Netfabb 2025.1 is now available!

Dear Netfabb community,

On Wednesday, July 31st, we released version 2025.1 of Netfabb and Local Simulation. It is now available on the Product Updates page in your Autodesk Account or the Autodesk Access desktop application.

This is a smaller update, with these being a selection of notable changes:

  • Netfabb: New Additive Industries MetalFAB 300 Flex machine
  • Netfabb: Extensive support for font selection for text labeling through Lua
  • Netfabb, ATU: Defining a description text for an EBPA compiled with ATU and reading it into Netfabb during import
  • ATU: New ability of the Layer Stacks Viewer of ATU to import an external slice file to apply the toolpathing code currently being worked on
  • Local Simulation: Loading a BINVOX file to provide a volumetric map for calculations affected by solidity, or material fraction, for things like latticed volumes

To read a more extensive list, visit the 2025.1 Release notes.

Best regards,

Steffen Anders

Where does it install?
Im not finding it in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Netfabb 2025
and the shortcut links on the desktop and start menu are broken
I used the update and it didnt work originally. Then I tried the full install file and that didnt work.
Finally, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and then it worked.
