Identifying Wall and Component Associations in AutoCAD Architecture

Hello everyone,

I need some assistance with understanding component associations in Autodesk. Specifically, I have two questions:

  1. How can I determine which wall is associated with a particular door?
  2. How can I identify all the components that are associated with a specific wall?

using .NET Api

Any guidance or tips on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help.

If you are referring to doors and windows that are in a wall I think you won't get it directly through the wall. As far as I know only openings can be obtained from the wall (wall.GetOpeningsFor()).
To get the doors and windows associated with the wall, I think you will have to do the opposite, go through the doors and windows and get which wall they are anchored to. Don't forget that window can also be anchored to a roof.
You can start by taking a look at "AnchorOpeningBaseToWall" and "SingleReferenceId".
