How to Change Background of Tool Palette

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to change the background of my Tool Palette in .NET / Visual Studio.

I have a Windows Form User Control. It contains a Picture Box and a Label currently.

I have the BackColor of the User Control set to the Dark color that I want, but it does not populate when I open the Tool Palette.

I have read that a User Control can Not have a background color that will apply to the form it is placed inside of, so how can I effectively implement a custom background color for my Tool Palette?

We're using WPF for our palettes and can switch colorscheme to match CAD.
