Debugging in 2017

Hi,

I'm getting an eKeyNotFound error when using my app in AutoCAD 2017 but, because I can't debug it, I can't work out the problem.

I have VS2013.

I've tried these two methods to get debugging happening but they don't want to work.

  1. Turn on “Use Managed Compatibility Mode” via Tools –> Options –> Debugging.
  2. Turn on “Enable native code debugging” from Project –> Properties –> Debug.

Are people available that I could pay to remotely jump on my computer via TeamViewer to help solve the problem? I have a few questions and it would be great if someone could explain them to me all in one hit..

I have only heard that there was .NET debugging issue with AutoCAD 2017 and Visual Studio 2015, which has been addressed by AutoCAD 2017 SP1. See link here:

Since you use VS2013, I am not sure AutoCAD2017 SP1 would be helpful or not, but you could give it a try.

Norman, thankyou!

I was worried there might not be a fix if I could't debug.

It does work with VS2013 and just about to search for the problem.

You've made my morning.
