I am currently working on a project which involves using Kinect for 3D scanning and AutoCAD for 3D imaging.
It is titled "Quality Control using Kinect for 3D scanning". I will be using Kinect v2.0 to scan several samples and project their 3D scan/drawing in AutoCAD to compare their geometric parameters with a 3D drawing of a standard product. Thereafter, faulty, broken and/or incomplete samples will be separated from the approved ones.
It's an application of Industrial Qauilty Control.
Now my question is,
How can i save the 3D scan of the sample and then compare it to the 3D drawing of the standard product?
