AutoCAD UI Winforms Design Guidelines

Hi All, I can't seem to locate a published guideline specifying AutoCAD Winform design specifications. For example: button sizes, colours, form sizes, control clearances, etc. Any links? Thanks again. Dale

Hi, Thank you very much for the link. I came on this while searching, but the old AU content seems to be ditched. The Autodesk AU site only goes back to 2012 so I couldn't retreive the complete set. This will be helpful, but surely Autodesk has strict guidelines for their development team somewhere. Regards, Dale

Almost certainly.  However I doubt they are publicly available, and there is no need for you to follow them.

I did see that AUGI were to host the AU content, then couldn't track it down, then found a post to the effect that it never happened. However, your link solved the confusion. All pre 2012 AU courses are here:

Why Autodesk is not hosting this valuable content is a mystery.

I am still looking for an official UI document similar to Autodesk Icon Guidelines 2008. I have searched the SDK but of course could have missed something (it happens..). Dale
