Workflow Question: Site Team Changing status in model and extracting model lengths
General question on workflows.
We use Plant3d to create piping, equipment and steel models. We have an NWD with all the models within.
Contractor is installing onsite and will give us a list of meterage they are installing each month.
Want a workflow that the site engineer can check what has been installed, preferably change the status to installed and we can then extract the lengths and show this in power bi, we may use VCAD to show the installed items in a model within power bi.
We have Build so am looking at Assets, however, this doesn't pull the meterage. Is there any other way for the Site Engineer to update the status with the software we have? Would be interested in hearing any/all workflows using other software also.
