Render setting question

I'm rendering a project in Navisworks and I'm having some issues with the stereo panorama view. With the roof turned off you can see but there are shadows on everything. However, if I turn the roof layer on then I can't see anything because its too dark. Is there a way to set up some sort of illumination?

I am not sure I understand it correctly. Can you explain a little better and post a screenshot?

Thank you for your post. It looks like you are trying to make a stereo panorama render within Navisworks, but are seeing ill behavior with shadows with respect to the roof object. There are a lot of possible directions here, so the best bet would be to attach a screen shot of what you see with both the roof turned on and off, and a sample of the file in question. Please also grab a screen shot of your render settings for review. Please keep us posted in the community so we can best help in this case moving forward.
