Hello good day,

When i export the quantification to excel, i always have this value on the Object category, same name but have a running number at the end. Have anyone experienced it? Like this i need to rename manually.

Hope someone can help about it.

Just found out that whatever placed in this Object category, when quantification is extracted will give a value and running number (eg. Pipe(1), Pipe(2), Pipe(3)...etc.) and it eats up time to amend manually when pivoting in excel. I saw that the default Takeoff Property Description1 and Description2 provides a cleaner value. I figured to edit the template file and add Description3 instead and yeah it worked. A simple thing but greatly help me in my quantification, hope can help others as well.

Hello,
I am starting to use Navisworks and I have a problem with the quantification tables and I think it must be similar to your problem.
I need the type of pipe system to appear in the measurement, so I put that value in the description but it comes out blank.

I have tried to carry out your solution of adding the "description 3"column  and see if it reads the information that I ask for there. The problem is that after modifying the template, the "description 3" column  still does not appear

Maybe I have put something wrong in the code and I am not able to see it. Could you help me to solve the problem?
Thank you very much and have a great time

Go down to the code and add the Description 3 in the "ObjectResource". See sample image below.
