If this is a one time event for a very limited number of search sets, then:

1. Select the search set of interest

2. Right click one of the highlighted elements in the model or Selection Tree.

3. Choose Overwrite Item

4. Choose Overwrite Color

5. Select color of interest

If model updates are expected and maintaining a color schema is desired, then utilize the Appearance Profiler tool, located on the Home tab in the Tools panel.  The Appearance Profiler will update color overrides on an unlimited number of search sets and settings can be saved in an external file for reuse on other projects.  Highly recommended.

Color overrides are not visible in a Full Render Mode.  The rendered material takes priority over element color.

On the Viewpoint tab, Render Style panel, change the Mode to Shaded and color overrides should become visible.
