Navisworks Manage 2017 Freezes during License splash screen

I did a fresh install of Navisworks Manage 2017 onto a new laptop today. When i tried to open up Manage to map the network license it freezes up.  Is there any workaround or solution to this issue?

Hi @jdlandry504,

Apologies for the trouble. Could you try the solutions posted here? Have also you tried updating your graphics card driver recently? You may also be having an issue connecting to your license server. Could you make sure it is up and running properly?

The license manager is up and running as AutoCAD 2017 and Revit 2017 are both working.  I ended up finding a work around for it by telling Manage to run in compatibility mode.

**Update**  I am still having these issues as the work around of running in compatibility mode no longer works.  There has to be someone else that is running into this problem.

Hi @jdlandry504,

Just to double check, you have tried updating your graphics card driver and removing your old licensing information already correct? Could you provide us some specs on your system?

**UPDATE*** Still having this issue.  It seems to be a hit and miss thing.  I have done all the new installs the same way by using the install now option from my accounts software management on accounts.autodesk.com.  Every new install runs differently.  Sometimes it installs with no issues and sometimes i have to try to install it several times and still get the issue as stated in my original post.  The work around i had figured out no longer works either.  The computer specs are listed below.  All of the computers are the same internally.

Computer Specs

Intel Core i7 3840QM @ 2.80Ghz

32GB Ram

Windows 7 Pro SP1 64bit

NVIDIA Quadro K5000M graphics card

all software and drivers are updated to the latest release.
