Hey all.
I'm hoping to lean on some experienced Inventor / Navisworks users.
I have worked with inventor for a long time. Not so much with Navisworks (NW).
I have large plant assemblies in Inventor that are getting too massive to effectively work in inventor. So I was looking to NW to build my plant layouts. It has been very ease to create these layouts. So far so good.
Now I need to create a conveyor line through this plant I built in NW. I would typically use Inventor and pull in the plant and use FDU assets to create the new line. It doesn't look like I can add FDU assets to the NW model. Can I?
So here is the rub as I see it. How do I use the NW model to help me create this conveyor line? I don't see any way of using the NW model in inventor.
Is there any workflows out there for this situation?
