Kilometer chainage as ifc_room

Hi there,

unfortunately the civil axis tool in Navisworks doesn't work fully correctly when you have a chainage jump (change) at a certain point.

I was thinking of creating room/spaces with ifcRoom or ifcSpace to allow to jump fast to this room and create a section there.

My idea of the approach would be: Create samplelines at certain coordinates or rectangles and add the attribute of chainage to this object and export it as ifcSpace incl. the chainage attribute to show it in the datastructure.

Any possibile approach for this?

I have seen this at another project with a long tunnel and it seemed to be really helpful for the building site.
