Exporting from Revit

Is there a way when exporting a .nwc file from revit to not export hidden items.

New to Navisworks and this is making me crazy.

Hi tarheels09,

If you don't want to export the hidden elements in the revit view when exporting to nwc, you can follow the steps below:

1. In Revit, Add-Ins- -External Tools- -Navisworks 2013 ( or 2014)

2. In the Export Scene As dialog, click Navisworks Settings

3. set field "Export" to "Current View", See attachment "export option.JPG". Then it will only export the visible elements in the view.

Revit is still exporting the grids, however they are not visible.
