Hi All,
I'm working in Navisworks 2024 and I've noticed that there are two different "Look Around" versions: the one on the Navigation Bar (the eyeball) is different than CTRL+3 shortcut, but both are called "Look Around." I was hoping to find or program a shortcut for the one in the Navigation Bar, which I think is more like a "game mode," where the camera stops when the mouse stops moving, and the camera stays upright. With the CTRL+3 version the camera keeps moving as long as the left button is held, and it can start tilting sideways if you look down and to the side.
If anyone can tell me if there is a different name than "Look Around" for one of these, or if I can get to the Navigation Bar version a different way, I would appreciate it.
There is no easy way (like Revit) to create shortcuts in Navisworks but you could use the steering wheel or you could use a 3Dconnection space mouse which have programable buttons.
You could check this post out that talks about editing files to create shortcuts but do so at your own risk.

Thanks for the reply @alan.johnson7YLND
The shortcut customization discussed in this link is what I've been using with great success (I actually have a reply on that forum post!). Where I'm hitting a wall is what these two Look Around functions are called; surely they can't both be called "Look Around" in the RoamerCommands since they do slightly different things? I can of course find what the existing "CTRL+3" shortcut in RoamerCommands is by using Find--but it's the one in the Navigation bar that I don't know the name of (which I would need to replace the CTRL+3 command).
I have been very impressed by the videos I've watched for the SpaceMouse--I hope to get one but unfortunately it hasn't made it to the top of my list yet!
