create transparency of object permanently in naviswork or through autocad as nwcout

I want to create transparency of object permanently in naviswork or doing transparency in object in autocad ,then transfer to naviswork as nwc file. is it possible ?

I have never tried to do that in AutoCAD, so I can't say if that is possible.

In Navisworks, the object will inherit the properties from the authoring package. You can, however, quickly change this by using the Appearance Profiler. You basically create a search or selection set of the objects that you want to make transparent. Then in the Appearance Profiler, bring in that search/selection set and changes its transparency. When and if you get model updates, just re-run the appearance profiler.
