Is there is way to create a clash test that ignores the GUID numbers of the geometry that is clashing? Not sure if there is another way to get Navisworks to recognize a clash outside of the GUIDs. My current project is having issues with clashes resetting and I'm curious if ignoring this property would help with the resets.

i know you're asking about the GUID, but i want to better understand the root issue. By this description above, it sounds like clashes you have already set as approved are reappearing as new clashes?
I typically use Search Sets and create my Rules from the search sets. but the GUID is still a factor.

Regardless of status (could be active, approved, or reviewed), the clashes jump back to new turning the previously grouped clashes to resolved.
Our clash tests are structured the same way using search sets. For instance, our ST Steel search set is as follows: Item | File Name | Contains | Structure *And Condition* Item | File Name | Contains | Steel.
The clash test is Search Set v. Search Set. Only rules we have used are "Items in the same file."
We seem to have this issue with ST Steel file uploads, Concrete, and Fire Protection. But the most resets are happening with the ST Steel files.
sorry for late reply, got REALLY busy at my day job :-). since i can't duplicate the issue on my end, would you be able to upload a copy of 2 of the files and the NWF file for us to look at?
