Cannot Open revit file in Naviswork 2022

When i try to open a revit file in Navisworks 2022. It shows that the file cannot be open because of internal error. How to solve this problem.

• open the Revit model and run a Purge all Unused (may need to be run several times to fully clean everything out). 
• when Syncing to Central make sure the Compact Central Model is checked
• try loading the file into Navisworks again.... 

If that didn't work:

• open the file Detached  and save it as a new name. 
• try opening the detached model.

Depending on the version of Revit your running, you can also load the Navisworks tools, found under Add-Ins ribbon >  External Tools. I believe newer versions of Revit has the included by default older versions of Revit you may need to find the install for it. Use that to make a NWC and open the NWC into Navisworks.

Hi, I have the same problem with the revit 2021 and navisworks 2022 update 1 files. I can't upload the files with this error. I tried with your solution but it doesn't work. How to solve?

Try Navisworks 2021.  Not a fix but a workaround that worked for me. I check the Options > File Readers for Revit and dwg and they seem to have the same settings from 2021 to 2022 also unchecked everything still did not work.  I tried it with NavisWorks 2022 and 2022.1 both give errors.
