Hi, I've been given the responsibility for a .NET navisworks plugin (simulate 2018-2021, manage 2018-2021) that exports assets for VR.
It works well on small models, but we crash navisworks a lot on larger models. The call stacks show we are crashing in the navisworks native code ?someplace?.
1) Is there a best practices document for not crashing navisworks?
2)We have found it's possibly how our code interacts with the navisworks autosave. Is there a way to disable that while our plugin is running?
2b) We can save an nwf ourselves before the autosave triggers, but that spams our users recent documents list, is there a different save call other than Document,TrySave that won't update recent documents?
3) We have found that the navisworks progress bar does not meet our needs. Is there any way to disable it while our plugin is running?
