What License needed for development

If I am to develop some programs (a Navisworks viewer) - what licenses are required for the developer and the end-user?

hi,

as far as I'm aware there is no such thing as a dev license. You need a license of Navisworks simulate or Navisworks manage. You only need manage if the project you are working on has to do with the clash detection. Also you should know that the Navisworks sdk as a separate install in addition to Navisworks. The free version of Navisworks called "Navisworks Freedom" does not support 3rd party plugins so that is with you need Simulate or Manage.

@ulski1 is correct. programming with Navisworks API is free of license. While of course, the end user should have license of Navisworks Manage / Simulate.

And 'Navisworks Freedom' and 'Clash functionality of Manage' @ulski1 mentioned are also good points. To echo: 'Navisworks Freedom'  does NOT support API.  Most API functionalities of Manage and Simulate are same, while to work with ClashTest API, the end user must install Manage.
