Get section capping

From Navisworks 2018 Update 2 it is possible to show the section capping in a specified color. Is it possible to get the lines representing this capping using the API?

There is a few things we could do with this. One is to use it for some sort of auto dimensioning. It would for sure make it easier for us to make Naviseworks the prefered desktop app.

Current Clipping API has only set or get the plans. I do not see a way to get capping. While I might misunderstand what you meant by 'capping'. The product help does not either indicate this.

is that something in the attached snapshot?

By capping, I mean the red lines in you snapshots. The outlines of all the elements that the clipping plane cuts though.

Definitely a needed feature, and I would add that getting the clipped triangles would also be great, i.e. a version of the COM Fragment extractor that provides clipped mesh instead of/in addition to full mesh.
Along with previous suggestion of being able to generate 'drawing', it will allow export of clipped models, and maybe even the much needed feature of section filling, if the performance allow it.
