Explicit Dynamic - penaltyScaleFaces Error

Hi!

I'm trying to perform an impact analysis using Explicit Dynamics of a "sandwich" of different materials 

- all materials are assumed to be linear

- all layers of the sandwich are bonded

- manual separation contact defined at the contact point ( split face 30mm radius) 

What is the following error? I cannot find any documentation

Hi Sigurd, this error can appear if you use different stifness factors on the Surface Contact definitions. Please check each of the manually created contacts and ensure all have the same stiffness factor defined.

For an explicit dynamics analysis, the Stiffness Factor must be 0.2. (The exception is if someone tells you to change it to a different value, which must be less than 0.8.)
