Symmetrical posing

Symmetrical posing

right now, creating joints with symmetry on works great as well as the move pivot tool however, posing does not work with symmetry. This option alone would make this tool way more useful!

right now i have to pose one side and flip it..however then you lose the placement of the joints on one side which makes it pointless and i have to remake the joints.

The Actual method to obtain simmetrical poses is, 1st to all: Set the topological axis for your mesh,(your mesh mut be topologicaly simmetrical), next, create an new sculpt layer to store the pose or in other words the position changes of the vertices, 3:pose the mesh from one side of the topology axis with the pose tool.4: rigth click over the sculpt layer that contain the pose and select "Mirror Layer" and is done.

But, anyway is an good idea the possibility to get the skeleton simmetricaly posed to store the pose,(of the joints/skeleton) stored, to repear the pose of the bones in a simmetrical way.

Yes this would be a great help

Its the mirroring of a skeleton that is important not the position of the verts. Its not uncommon for me to work on top of a skinned mesh, I need to pose it to to have a clear view of bits that may be obscured in its default pose but if I manually pose both sides it will never be anywhere near close, if I use the trick of posing on a layer and mirrior that there will be anomolies as the skelly is not in its mirroed pose.
