Preserve UVS when decimating geometry.

Matte painters, environment artist dont always use displacements. They like to decimate the geo and bring it into maya.

 

Also I like to decimate my model and bring it into Mari to paint.
Zbrush decimate tool keeps the UVS. Mudbox does not. This is very powerful please add.

Please add examples what you mean? Not all uses Zbrush.
