A set of tools that help with the cleanup of high-res photogrammetry captures. These meshes can be very dense (30 million tris), they have bad geometry (nonmanifold, t-shapes, holes) and mudbox can't deal with them at the moment. The tools I'd like to see:
-hole filling and selection, border selection.
-extrude the selected hole/border.
-contiguous shell selection.
-decimate that works on bad geometry.
-retopology that works on bad geometry.
-clone tool that works across multiple texture channels (abledo, normal, height, etc).
-most importantly: dynamesh from zbrush. -> voxel based remeshing tools are absolutely essential for sculpting software.
- marker based alignment for mutiple scans.
Recap has a rudimentary version of some of these tools, but it's not competitive in any way with a reality capture/photoscan + zbrush based workflow.
