Paint in the UV View

Would like to be able to paint in the UV view. To be useful, this would require:

- Split 3D/UV View

- Display Options (current layer/channel/mask/all)

- Toggle wireframe

this would be nice, just like in Substance Painter or even Blender 3D you can do that

Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware that for now, you can do UVs & Maps -> Flatten to UV Space. It's not a complete solution, but might be useful in some instances.
