It would be nice to have the ability to convert a selected edge to a curve. While I can think of many uses for such a feature, it would be particularly useful for more precisely sculpting clothing seams and such. You could select the edges that represent the seam, convert the selected edge to a curve and then stroke on the curve to sculpt the seam.
