When working with image planes in mudbox, if you want to 2D zoom or pan in the image, the process is the following: select the camera with the current image plane on the outliner, go to the 2D transform, and use those sliders to set the view as you want, and then keep sculpting. the process is really cumbersome, and if you have tons of cameras you need to find the current camera on the list in the outliner first, taking quite a bit of time just for such a trivial but often used task.
There should be a 2D zoom option in the viewport like in maya, were we could even setup a hotkey to activate it, and interactively adjust the zoom/pan on the viewport, ( just copy the maya system for 2D zoom )
