Trouble adjusting model in Maya and exporting back to Mudbox

Hi

I'm currently practising sculpting in Mudbox and I wanted to adjust a part of my model in Maya. Whilst doing that, I noticed that somehow, some triangles were present and I wanted to fix them up. The problem is, whenever I do things like that and import it back into Mudbox as a new layer, it gives me an Import Options box. I'm not sure what to adjust, particularly for the Tolerance property, but just leaving it gives me a warning saying 'Vertex counts on the active object and the imported mesh should be identical!' What should I do?

Thanks

If you use the send to feature it should work even if you change the topo.

If you like todo it from hand you have to bake a displacement map and displace the new object.

But make sure you dont change the uvs.

I could have sworn I'd already tried that, but that looks to work no problem. Thank you. 😄
