Hi!
I don't think this question is too complicated but I was wondering if there was a solution to this problem:
When I am working in Maya I am able to send meshes to mud box and vice versa. When I am done with the files for the day but need to continue working on them later can I just open the maya file, click send to mud box again (remember mud box isn't currently open because this is hypothetically a new day). How do I get it so it opens in mudbox with the same mudbox paint and sculpt layers as I had the day before.
Would I have to open the maya file and the mudbox file separately and then any changes I make to the mesh in maya I send to mudbox as 'update current scene'. I tried this and it didn't update the mudbox mesh but rather 'added it to the current scene'. This would mean i have to transfer all my paint and sculpt layers to this new mesh.
Do I just have to finish all the work in one session?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
