GPU memory problem in Mudbox 2016

I've been noticing that mudbox doesnt run as good as I think it should on my beast of a gaming computer.

Pertinent specs:
Windows 10 64 bit

CPU Intel Core i7-4790K
RAM 16GB DDR3 1866
GPU 2x Radeon ATI 270x in SLI 3 GB of video memory a piece

Anyways I have been trouble with running out of memory working on a 6 million poly sculpt. I finally found out that under "System Information" it only sees me as having 512 MB of GPU memory. I know with SLI I only have 3 available and not 6 but its only able to use 512! Ive tried disabling SLI with no change. Does anyone out there know what might be the problem. I would be very grateful for any help.

I disabled SLI already, but I figured it out. I needed to change the GPU environement variable. Thanks!
