Crease edges don't work

I tried to use creased edges exported from 3ds max (or directly sent to mudbox, both 2013 version) according to this workflow.
And it don't work.
I tried many combination of subdivision options, without any positive results.
Even updated FBX plugins.
Is it something I am doing wrong or it just don't work at all?

Mudbox only understands maya creases, not 3dsmax's creases. Once 3dsmax has proper catmull clark subdivision surface creases, it should be made compatible as well.

Yeah I know, but that's not the issue.
I needed it for HP meshes - I don't wanted to add additional loops to ged hard edges bcouse then I get distorted mapping after subdivide.

creases don't work when you save it as an fbx or an obj file and import it to mudbox, just go to "file" and click "send to mudbox" > "send as new scene" it will work. I don't know if that option exists in max I use maya, but they're both autodesk so probably it does.

Creae Edges work perfectly beetween MAX and Mud since Max 2016 using Open Subdiv.

The other option for creasing is send your model from Max with the Smoothing Groups well setted up, and next sent it to Mudbox in FBX with the option "Smoothing Groups" On:
