Cloning a sculpted model, 2016

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I'm new to mudbox and am a student at a graphic arts academy.

I am having difficulty with selecting a portion of a sculpted model, copy the polygons and where they're placed, and flip it on the y axis (I believe. I am trying to duplicate the ear on one side of the face, to another side of the face.)

I would appricate any help I can get and thank you for your time and effort.

are you flipping the sculpted detail or a actual mesh thats modeled on one side? if its sculpted detail and its on a layer. select the faces on the side with the detail> goto sculpt layer right click> click mirror layer. The other way is to goto Mesh> Make Symetrical
