Time to reach ejection temperature VS temperature result

Hi,

Material is PP glass filled 30 % (Generic  PP + Fiber) ejection temperature is 114 Degree C.

I have a doubt in the result:

In Time to reach ejection temperature result part takes  751 seconds  (Reason is part volume is too high)

Question:

1.If I need to eject the component  before ejection temperature about (200 ~114 degree C) for example 375 seconds what will be the temperature in the component.

2.I want to see time to reach ejection temperature Vs temperature.

Hello @pchandrasekar ,

What mesh type are you using?  For 3D, we provide a Temperature result.  This will only show the cycle time you specify.  Since your part is thicker, Moldflow is predicting that will take several hundred seconds to cool down to the ejection temperature.

Hi Manson.Myers,

I have used 3D mesh.

For thicker part has maximum cooling 750 sec (that's the doubt I have).

Now doubt clear and Thanks for the Reply ..
