Dear Moldflow Users,

We are happy to announce that Moldflow 2023 Update 1 is available.

The installers are available from the Autodesk Desktop App, Autodesk Access (which is the replacement for the Autodesk Desktop App), and Autodesk accounts. The 2023 Update 1 installers will replace the Moldflow 2023 FCS installation; in other words, this is NOT a side-by-side installation. Update 1 requires you to have Moldflow 2023 FCS products to be installed first.

IMPORTANT: After the installation you may have to run the license configuration tool (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Synergy 2023\bin\mlc.exe) again. This is particularly important if you have Network licenses and Autodesk flex tokens after the installation, the default behavior would aim to use a login as the license type.

The main objective of the 2023 Update 1 release is to enable users to transition from Network licenses smoothly to Named User licenses.

  • New additional solves paid for with Tokens on local or remote machine.
  • Pause solve when internet connection fails.
  • Named User insights in Autodesk Accounts.
  • Option to emulate Moldflow 2021.2 solvers from Moldflow 2023.1
  • Ability to run Named User licenses on a proxy network.
  • Solver API enabled for Named User

The update also comes with a new material database update, with now 12574 thermoplastic materials. 247 materials were added, 72 materials had changes and 115 materials were removed.

More information can be found in the attached .pdf and in the help (here).
