Mesh 3D- Warning

Hi,

I came across a warning  in 3D mesh,

  • Warning 304950
  • Warning 304970
  • Warning 304980

what's strange is after running mesh repair wizard all elements were matching quality criteria, even in DD mesh all criteria are matching.

  2. In DD we prefer 12 or 20? what Autodesk suggests
  3. is it necessary to solve long edges (some case it's 2000) what will be its effect on the analysis

Hello Nbhoopat,

My Answers in orange color:

  1. What is the recommended aspect ratio in 3D  (100  is what we prefer )
  • When creating a 3D mesh from a Dual Domain mesh, the maximum aspect ratio before conversion should ideally be below 30:1. The recommended maximum aspect ratio value is 50.

     2. In DD we prefer 12 or 20? what Autodesk suggests.

  • 20

      3. Is it necessary to solve long edges (some case it's 2000) what will be its effect on the analysis

  • It is recommended that the number of internal long edges be minimized. It may not be necessary to eliminate all internal long edges if they occur in non critical parts of the mold.

Warm Regards,
