Macro editing/ Script documentation help

Hi!

I got placed in a project where i have to modify process parameters in Moldflow (mold temperature, cooling time, pressure and so) and would also need to tamper with the position of the charge if possible. The license i got only has the record macro option (no built in VB editor). I looked through the tutorials and the provided examples here, but I'm at loss where to look for the correct functions, structures or generally documentation for this. I have looked for general examples, but keep getting error messages that the following methode "StudyDoc.Open" is not known (example of something i found but did not work).

I'm very much at loss and don't know where to look for references and help. I have Moldflow Insight 2023 with a university license.

You can search for a file named solverapi.chm in the Moldflow installation directory ， You can also search for relevant example code in the installation directory under data/commands/

Even if you looked through a lot of documentation, I think this is a good starting point:

It has some links to Autodesk University presentation about the basics.

I think you could also search this community for API for discussions and solutions.
