Hello everyone,
i´ve got an insert wich is made of FR4 (PCB Material) and i try to overmold it..
i set the starting temperature on 25°C and simulating with PP by 290°C injection temperature..
the insert geometry is very complex so i meshed without perfect contact...
when i look up temperature at the surface of my insert i got this graph (see attached pic)
i understand that the temperature rise at the first second but i can´t explain why it drops after this and
start to rise up on a higher level than before? The FM4 Material has a better thermal conductivity than the melt.
I have to say that my molded part is very thick.
thank you for your help!
